LA Sales Tax Holiday
August 1-2, 2008
The sales tax holiday begins at 12:01 AM on Friday, August 1, and end at midnight Saturday, August 2. There will be no state sales tax on the first $2,500 of purchase price for items of non-business use. Items such as automobiles are excluded from the sales tax break.
